Punta Cana, DR

The week after Easter my school was on spring break, and Brad and I had two free vouchers for anywhere Airtran flies, including the Carribean, so we decided to take a trip to the Dominican Republic - Punta Cana to be specific.  It was a week filled with relaxing on the beach, walks, eating out, reading, and just enjoying life.  There's not a whole lot else to do there, so we soaked up the sun and got some much needed rest & relaxation.

On the way there, we actually ended up volunteering to bump to a later flight, so we got moved to first class on the later flight (lots of leg room and I got a WHOLE can of soda and we got special snacks, not just peanuts), AND we got two more free vouchers!  So now we're thinking maybe Cancun next year during my spring break!

The beaches are BEAUTIFUL there!  This beach where we stayed was recently voted one of the top ten beaches in the world! (Bavaro Beach)

Crazy though now that we're home....it feels like this trip was already weeks ago!  Two days with 30 fourth graders can do that to ya, I guess.
