Eleanor was six months old on June 28. She is now sitting up (although she will fall over after a few minutes) and likes to roll all over the place. I swear she'll never crawl because she just loves rolling. She also loves looking in the mirror, sitting on Daddy's shoulders, and being sung to/talked to.
Eleanor has two bottom teeth and loves to chew on EVERYTHING and OUCH! It hurts! Eleanor isn't really into eating... we've tried oatmeal cereal a handful of times and it was a no-go. She nurses every 3/4 hours during the day and once at night (usually eats about 5-6 times per day). She will sometimes do a small feed if we're out and about to tide her over until we get home. She is not good at nursing on the go. She's so distracted...she nurses best in her room with the lights out/noise on. She still isn't great with the bottle but will eat anywhere from 2-4oz if she has to. But it's usually a long process with lots of starts/stops and distractions.
She is a super happy and smiley baby other than when her reflux is acting up but it has been going well lately. She loves to be part of the action and will fuss if she's not! She loves sitting up, being held and in the bjorn, and in her exersaucer. She is way over the bouncy seat because she doesn't like to lay down like that. She laughs and squeals a lot...the surest way to get her to laugh is to tickle her or have Bennett cry/tantrum - she thinks it's hilarious! Haha
Eleanor is on a pretty solid schedule and I'm nervous for her to change it! Ha. She goes to bed at 7:30pm, eats around 2am, and is up for the day at 6:30am. She takes a long morning nap (usually 8-9:30) and afternoon nap (12-2pm) then a short nap around dinner time (4:30-5:15pm). She sleeps at night in her crib but still naps in her swing.
Eleanor is still a peanut but growth is consistent so the doctor said she's doing great. She was 25 3/4 inches long, which is the 43%, 13lb, 7oz, which is the 7%, and her head is 42cm, which is the 43%.
