Thanksgiving weekend when we were in Green Bay we went to Whispering Pines to get our Christmas tree. It's pretty cute there - you can take a horse/trailer ride to the field, cut your tree, then see Santa and have hot cocoa too. It was chilly but no snow so that made it easier. Eleanor didn't love walking around searching for a tree but Bennett was very eager to help and try to find one.
Ben LOVED Santa this year! He has never really done well with Santa before. Eleanor on the other hand.......she cried harder than I think I've ever heard her cry.
As per usual, the tree was a little too big. We had to cut about a foot off this year for it to fit.
Bennett was ALL about helping this year. He wanted to decorate the house, the tree...you name it!
And he's super excited to have a pickle hunt contest with family. He really wants to win the prize and is nervous Uncle Casey will beat him to it. He said, "Let's not have Uncle Casey come for Christmas." Lol. :)

Oh my Eleanor! Sad!! That is such a classic Christmas pic of her crying on Santa's lap :) And I loved reading about how much Bennett loved the snow. Can't believe he played out there so long- thats impressive!
