Ben: 3 Year Doctor Appointment

Bennett had his three year checkup a couple of weeks late.  It was such an easy and quick appointment.  He is doing great - hitting all his milestones (and beyond), growing well, and he didn't need any shots so that was a bit help, too! :)  The doctor was impressed with him and said he's such a smart boy.

Today he got his blood pressure, height, and weight checked, then the doctor checked him all out too. She asked him lots of questions and he kind of sat there shyly without really answering many.  Why do kids love to do that?!  Normally he talks a ton and can answer all of my questions.  He did bust me when she asked if he drinks milk and I said, "With meals he does," and he said, "Not with lunch!"  haha. :)  We probably have milk with lunch 50% of the time, and the rest of the time we have water.  Bennett was 32.5 pounds, which is the 56%, and 37 inches tall, which was the 30%.  That was a bit shorter than last time (60%) but she said when they measure them standing up at 3 years it's pretty different (and I guess more accurate) than the lay down method used in the past.

Bennett doesn't go back to the doctor until he's 4!!!  And I guess that's a pretty big appointment with four big shots, a hearing screening and a vision screening.
