Chicago For Mom's Birthday!

This weekend Missy, my mom, and I went down to Chicago to celebrate my mom's 50th birthday!  Man!  I still remember celebrating her 40th birthday in a BIG way and now, 10 years later, we've got another big milestone!  We are so blessed that she's been feeling well lately and doing so well...

So anyway, we wanted to do something special.  We drove down to Chicago on Saturday morning and spent the day walking around downtown - Lincoln Park Zoo (free and fabulous!!!), Millenium Park/The Bean, Navy Pier, and walking the Magnificent Mile.  We also had deep dish Chicago pizza for dinner and spent some time relaxing in the hot tub!  We stopped by Pleasant Prairie outlets on the way back home on Sunday.  We had a blast!  Here are some pics from the weekend:

 My mom REALLY wanted to go on the ferris wheel, but that thing is high - and she wanted to get off almost as soon as we were on it!  But the views were amazing!!!
