Our Blessing: Bennett James

Well, he is finally here and it was totally worth the wait! On Thursday, April 18, our baby boy was born! We went in to CSM around 6:30am to be induced, and Bennett James was born at 4:10pm. Bennett is 20 inches long, 6lbs15oz and perfectly healthy! He is a Brad mini-me, and looks exactly like Brad's baby pictures, minus the dark hair, which I had as a baby.

So far, nights are a little rough but getting slowly better. But Bennett is a great baby! He eats like a champ and loves snuggles. I feel really good - way better than I expected to, although long walks are still out of the question. Brad is home all this week, which has been so great. I think we're all sad about him going back on Monday. We've been having a lot of quality family bonding time, and Bennett is enjoying meeting all of our friends.
