We had a pretty low-key fourth of July this year! With a two month old, you are a bit limited as to what you can do. It was pretty sunny out, so we tried to stay in the shade. We took a long walk and spent lots of time under a big tree in our yard. While Bennett napped, Brad and I browsed catalogs for bathroom vanities and played a game of bags...
For dinner we decided to grill shish kabobs - yum! We also had watermelon and corn on the cob. Perfect 4th of July meal!
No fireworks for us this year - we thought they might be a tad loud for baby, not to mention he'd probably just fuss the whole time since it would be past his normal bedtime. Maybe next year when he might actually be entertained by them. :)
