Well...we're about 1.5 months overschedule here, and only 2 weeks away from Baby's due date, but dare I say the basement is close to finished! It's finished enough that we were able to move the guest room furniture down and finally start working on the new nursery upstairs. And not a moment too soon, either. I've been starting to get *a little* stressed and panicky about not being able to start at all on the Baby's new room. Just ask Brad. :)
Our basement guy still needs to finish the bathroom - tiling, toilet/vanity installation, put on all doorknobs, do the staircase railing, and get his electrician and plumber here. But at least the carpet is in, doors are in, furniture is in. So if you need a place to stay, pretty soon you'll have a lovely finished basement suite to yourself!

View of the livingroom from the stairs. Eventually a TV will be mounted on the wall you're looking at. And hopefully at some point we'll have furniture, but it's low on the totem pole as far as priority goes right now! The door you see on the left is the bathroom, and on the right is a hallway to the bedroom.
The bedroom. Still need to paint white around the inside of the windowsill.

Hopefully after this week I'll be able to update that it's done.
