Eleanor 2 Month Doctor Stats

Brad took Bennett to gymnastics today so that I could take Eleanor to her doctor appointment.  Overall Eleanor looks good - she's hitting developmental milestones like talking and smiling.  But the doctor did have some concerns.

First, she thinks she might have a heart murmur - it was very slight and soft, but she's sending us to have it checked out by a cardiologist to make sure it's nothing serious.  Heart murmurs can go along with growth delays which is why she wants us to go in (read below)...We go for that on Tuesday.

Second, Eleanor did gain one pound between one and two months, but the doctor would've expected Her to gain closer to two pounds.  She grew a half inch but the doctor said that was also a little less than expected.  She was also surprised that Eleanor really didn't suck her finger when she put it in her mouth.  I made an appointment with a lactation consultant to see what she thinks about it.  Might be something off with her latch - she also doesn't take a nuk or bottle...

Stats are:
Weight 9 lbs 14 oz (9%)
Height 23in (63%)
Head 38.5cm (48%)

So we have a couple things to check out but we're praying everything will be fine.  Eleanor is such a smiley, happy, talkative baby!  Prayers for our upcoming appointments to go well.  We love her so much!!!
