"Herlache" Christmas!

We celebrated Christmas with my family the weekend before Christmas.  Christmas Eve and Christmas Day were going to be crazy busy this year with Kyle & Missy going on a cruise Dec. 26 (lucky brats!!!), so we thought this would be better.  Amanda, Casey, and Lincoln (and their dog Calvin) came down here for the weekend.  It was so fun to see them and spend more time with baby Lincoln!  Eleanor LOVED Lincoln and Calvin.  She giggled and laughed when she saw either of them.  Calvin she would follow around and try to pet but was often too slow to catch him.  But he's a super patient dog and let her get a few hugs in.  With Lincoln she would beeline for him saying, "Baaaay-beeee!" And then giggle and pat-pat him.

In true form, Missy and Casey got into the pickle hunt right off the bat Friday night.  And as always, Casey won. :)  After the kids went to bed, the adults played some games!  Fun!

Dog lover!  Calvin is SO good and patient with Eleanor.  He lets her pet him a lot.  :)  She is learning to be gentle and just thinks it's so cool when she gets to pet him.

Saturday after morning naps and a yummy breakfast bake dish was gift opening time!

They just LOVE baby Lincoln! :)

We adults do a secret santa type gift exchange.  So fun! :)

Saturday night the boys took our two kids to pick up some queso for appetizer night at Bel Aire Cantina in Tosa.  The girls stayed behind and took turns rocking baby Lincoln.  It was a tough job but somebody had to do it. ;)

Had to check on the baby as soon as they got home.

Family time sure is different with three kids under three.  I think we all look forward to bedtime so we can enjoy some adult chat, games and relaxing.  But it is SO fun and sweet to see how much the cousins all love each other.  Can't wait to see Lincoln running around after these two next year! :)
