Another Big Christmas Tree!

I've managed to talk Brad into getting a real Christmas tree since being married.  My family always had real trees, his had artificial.  But I just didn't want to give up the real pine smell!!!

Our first tree we got at a place in the Mequon area where you cut it down yourselves.  It was slim pickings, plus SUPER expensive.  Last year we went to a tree cutting place in Oostburg after Thanksgiving, and we found a great big tree and the price was reasonable.

So we went back there again - Bosler's, in case you're interested in an hour drive for a tree.  Well, we knew we wanted a big, full tree, but the one we picked ended up being a bit bigger than we thought it was out in the "forest."  They don't look quite as big when surrounded by other bigger trees.  Let's just say we probably trimmed about a foot total (some from the top, some from the bottom) before it actually fit into our house.  Luckily our living room is large...

Getting ready to cut her down!

Cooper was VERY interested in the whole affair...

Lights up!  We didn't decorate it until almost a week later!

Decorations!
