This week at work we're doing all kinds of fun days, since it's the week before winter break. Monday was "dress alike" day (AKA Twin day). Carrie, our third grade teacher friend Robin, and I all wore blue striped shirts, skinny jeans, gray boots, and silver earrings.
For dress alike day, one of my girls dressed like "me." I do wear a jean skirt with brown boots once in awhile, but I'm not sure about the fuzzy brown vest or long yellow stringy hair! Cute though! :)
Today, my class (and the 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders at my school) went down to the US Cellular Arena to beat the world record for the most kids reading together at once. We had to read aloud for 30 minutes straight, which was kinda crazy, but we did it!!! The kids were pumped (read: LOUD). We also got to listen to RYAN GRANT read to us!!! You can read about the event here.
And our 20 Something's group at church got together for a gingerbread contest this past weekend. My team constructed LAMBEAU! Complete with Jumbo-tron, men on the field, and field goal posts!!!
Sunday night my mom came for Christmas cookie baking!!! We did really well and got all of our baking done in the afternoon, then went to BCRC's Children's Christmas Program at night, and were home in time for the Survivor Season Finale!
Oh, and Cooper and Brad helped too. ;-)
