Ben has been in T-Ball for the past month or so through the Park and Rec Dept. It wasn't a game or even practice...more like just learning some very very basic skills. Like where the bases are. We are still working on that one. But put ten 2 and 3 year olds together for 45 minutes and it's always highly entertaining. I think Ben was one of the youngest and you could really tell a difference between him and the older kids with listening and following directions. But he had fun and got some energy out.
Week one: Bennett is the kid in the light striped shirt running across the field. Couldn't follow even a basic direction this week. It was hilarious (excuse Eleanor's crying in the background!)
The next week he was supposed to be working on "Point, Step, Throw". Meaning take ONE step. Yeah....he didn't quite get that part.
This was from the last week. He still has a super hard time waiting his turn and following directions. He mostly relies on noticing the other kids are all doing something different and then doing it eventually. Oy. But here you can see he's got the hang of "tap the base" and "hit the ball."
