Friends From Michigan!

Yay!  The DeLanges came to visit us this past weekend and we had so much fun catching up with them!  The whole trip went a million times better than the last one.  Laurel ended up getting sick on Saturday night, but they'd been here since Thursday at dinner so I still call that a win.  :)

We had a fun weekend, complete with a trip to Betty Brinn (too crowded though!), Trick or Treating with friends, dinner out sans kids (thanks Missy, Kyle & Robert!!!) and some girl/guy time without kids.  The guys went to Rays Friday night after the kids were asleep and to a newer Brookfield brewery - Biloba.  The girls went shopping and got pedicures and coffee on Saturday morning.

Overall the kids slept great, despite some early mornings.  The kids were all in good moods and Ben and Brie got along very well considering they are two and three years old!  We are hoping to see them again before their new baby is born in April, and then we are hoping to go out and meet the new baby in May sometime!

Bennett and Briana sat at this little table we set up near the dining room so the adults could have the table.  They thought it was pretty cool. 

Eleanor thought it was cool, too. :)

We did a lot of dress up and pretend/imaginary play this weekend.  Ben pretends with toys a lot, but he doesn't really do imaginary play.  At one point Brie said, "Let's find the smelly chair!" and Ben pointed to a chair and said, "Here it is!" to which she responded, "That's not it!"  He was so confused, haha.
