This past weekend we drove to Michigan to visit Alec and Laurel! It's hard to believe it's been three years that they've lived there. Since we have two little kids and they have three, including new baby Caleb, we didn't do too much this trip. But it was so nice to just relax and catch up and watch our babies play together! The kids did okay in the car....rough off and on. It ended up being about a 6 hour drive because we had bad traffic both ways. Alec and Laurel have a pool, but we only got to use it once because it was a chilly and rainy/cloudy weekend! That was a bummer but still a fun visit. One day the husbands got a kid break and visited a brewery, and that night the girls got a break and went to dinner and shopping. :)
Eleanor and Leah are only 3 weeks apart which is fun!
Ben and Brie are 6 months apart and they played together so well!
One afternoon we did go to Frederick Meijer Gardens and Panera for lunch. It's such a cool place and the kids loved running around together.
Before leaving, we had to get our traditional Alec with the kids pic! Ben was having a little meltdown but oh well!
